Images
Your photo is read by your browser and processed locally. ClearCut BG's web server does not receive, store or share your source image or result.
AI model files
To avoid running a costly upload service, your browser may download open AI model and runtime files from a public content delivery network. Those requests include standard network metadata but not your photo.
Operational data
If analytics or error monitoring is added, it will be disclosed here. We do not currently ask for accounts or payment details.

Is ClearCut BG free to use?
Yes. The first version offers free browser-based background removal with no signup and no watermark.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The current editor runs the AI model in your browser. Your original image and result stay on your device unless you choose to save them.
Which formats can I upload and download?
You can upload common JPG, PNG and WebP images up to 30 MB. Transparent results download as PNG or WebP.
Can it remove backgrounds from people and products?
Yes. The model is designed for automatic foreground segmentation, including people, products, animals and many everyday objects.
